Caitlin Joins Our Team
Physio Caitlin began her undergraduate studies in Health & Exercise Science at Syracuse University & later completed her Bachelors in Physical Therapy in the Philippines from Davao Doctors College. She is currently licensed to practice physical therapy in New York & in Connecticut. Physio Caitlin grew up in Westchester County, NY but spent the last few years completing her undergrad & working in the Philippines.
She helped establish the Philippines’ first scoliosis center at PEAK Physical Therapy & Scoliosis Center working with patients who have postural & spinal dysfunctions. She developed and was in charge of leading a complimentary online support group that provides communal support for the adolescent patients throughout the pandemic— to this day, she still wakes up at 6AM on weekends (due to the timezone difference in Asia) just to catch up and support her group of teens!
Her years of experience working with adolescent & adult scoliosis populations led her to seek more advanced training with the BSPTS (Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School) using the Schroth Method to treat scoliosis & related spinal deformities. Outside of scoliosis, her interests include myofascial pain & dysfunction, women’s health and pelvic girdle/pelvic floor dysfunctions, hypermobility, & energy healing.
She has post grad training with Herman & Wallace for pelvic floor dysfunction, as well as Fascial Manipulation by Stecco.
When she is not working in the clinic or studying towards higher education, she enjoys her spare time making beaded jewelry, journaling, & making vlogs for her long-distance family and dogs back in the Philippines!
