Yoga is a great adjunct to treating pelvic pain you may be experiencing during pregnancy, postpartum or even other diagnosis including abdominal surgeries and endometriosis! While there are many times of yoga classes out there, we highly recommend Hatha yoga and slow vinyasa classes that allow you to take the time to really breathe in each posture and get the full benefits! Yoga helps calm your nervous system down and relieves tension in your abdominal wall and pelvic floor musculature. It is a great way to downregulate your nervous system and decrease the severity of your symptoms of pelvic pain.⠀
